Saw this subject line and the mental picture came to mind of when
the Team La France guys and I got back from the machine shop in
Glenwood Springs, CO-they guys had pulled the oil pan off the 1916
American La France and there was a bearing-almost disentegrated-in
about a hundred pieces! Good thing they had a spare engine!
Sorry I can't help you-but if ever you need to know how to rebuild
the water pump for a 1916 American La France-I'm your gal!
