List- I wasn't trying to open a can of worms when I requested that those who
ask for help, to post the fix once it is obtained. That way we all learn BUT
let me be the first to apologize for sending a private fix when someone ask
for help. My reason- I don't want to embarrass myself with a stupid idea that
I think might solve the problem- so I send the email just to the person
asking. Not always but I am guilty. I once mentioned how smart I felt Theo is.
Well if you know Theo or have just set and listened to a conversation he is
having, his intelligence is obvious and too he often posted a responce that
matched mine, so that made me feel smarter (NOT).Theo is one of many SMART
members of this list but I certainly agree more fixes need to post so all may
read them. Is it important we post our answers or more important that "the
fix" get posted. Well I'm of the opinion it's the latter
but I can understand many preferring both get posted and will from now on post
my reply to the list and not just to the person asking for help. I rather read
a responce from Theo or Tom, Dave and many others more qualified but I'm
willing to post my thoughts IF the Lister asking for help, later reply with
what worked best, if he tried more than one persons thoughts and any
reccomendations, including what might have prevented the problem from
starting.
