Sorry to bomb the list like this, but...
somebody mentioned seeing a Ford Anglia in the film "Deliverance", and I
deleted the original mail.
Well, the film was on TV here in England last week so I took the
opportunity to go LBC spotting, and there it was: just after the
"Duelling Banjo" bit near the start of the film, a clear shot of the back
end of a Ford Anglia (Deluxe I think) in amongst a load of decrepit US
autos. Dunno why it was there but it was fun to see it, and thanks for
pointing it out to me, whoever you are! When I was born, my Dad had a
dark blue Anglia Super, then a light blue one, then his automotive taste
took a nosedive and he bought a 1965 Simca 1000...
