Fellow SOL'ers and Speed:
Remember the thread about TR 250 identification/emission plates? Some read
that the emissions system "meets the standards as of January 1, 1968." (i.e.
CD2908LO). Others read, they met "the emissions standards as of April 1,
1968." (i.e. CD5967L).
My TR 250 is CD4959L and it reads that it "meets the standards as of April 1,
1968." So, somewhere between CD2908 and CD4959 the dates changed. But does
anyone know if the standards actually changed? If so, how?
