Me too; I worry about loss of strength due to annealing the hub,

Been there, done that (almost; I sheared off the lug nuts) and
really don't want to do it again anytime soon.

I'm not either, but its enough to scare me.  When I had to remove
the hubs on my TR-4, I just took them to a shop with a 50 ton
press and had them do it.  Well worth the $10 or so that it cost.
