When I bought my '62 TR4 (CT16063L), it had an aftermarket TR6 hardtop
on it. I traded the hardtop for 2-TR4 grills and a Triumph AM radio.
My question has to do with the radio. The radio is a Triumph Part
Number: V-350 DP. The "DP" must mean dual polarity, has the unit has a
+/- switch on the back. The Bendix Corporation made the unit, and their
part number is 5BTRP.
Question: Was such a radio being installed in '62 TR4's?
While I'm not consumed with creating an all original TR, I do like
having those little things correct. Thanks for your help.
