I have never seen a Surrey top for a TR4 or TR6, here in the USA. Was
this an option? Is it still possible to set up a TR6 up with a Surrey top?

Phil,
The surrey top was introduced on the TR4 and will fit the TR4A and
TR250. It was not continued on the TR6 and a TR4 model will not
fit a TR6 without modifications since there is a difference in the
rear scuttle on the two cars. (I know of no instance where
someone has done such a modification to an original but apparently
there are some after market models.)
The Triumph Surrey top predates the Porsche 914 "Targa" top which they
claim to have invented.
