If all other easy methods fail, pull the engine, remove the head,
strip the engine including the crank ( yes it will come out with the pistons
still in ). Mount the engine on a stand. Pour l/2 inch of light oil ( WD
40, Mystery Oil, mineral oil or the like) in each cylinder. Let it soak for
a week or two. Remove the oil. Cut a 6 inch section from a hardwood tree
limb ( prefer Oak) that is slightly smaler than the cylinder diameter after
the bark is removed. Be sure that each end is flat. Place wood in the
cylinder. Place a flat l/4 or l/2 inch piece of steel atop the wood. Hid a
few blows with a heavy hammer. Repeat every few weeks untill it moves. Move
the piston to the bottom. Hone the rust and ridge from the upper part of the
cylinder. Bring the piston out through the top.
