Just a note to reinforce what Dave said -- I know that TR's after 1964 (and
maybe for sometime before) had no Whitworth nuts and bolts.  If a
mechanic/parts guy starts talking that way with you, beware.  

Also TR4's have standard (Society of Automotive Engineers - SAE) American
hardware, not metric.  By the way, the US is one of only a relatively few
nations which still use the English System of measurement (yes that is what
inches, feet, yards are - although the Brits went metric in the '80's).  So
for our '60's cars - good old American nuts and bolts fit right up.  When
someone tells you that your TR4 needs metric hardware because it is a
"foreign" car,  he is wrong.  Cheers.
