Tom,

I wouldn't think any wires would have been broken or disconnected for the work
you had done. Not unless they removed the portion of the steering that goes
through the dash.

There are three wires coming from the steering column for the turn signals,
and they exit the column just behind the dash. The three wires are
green/white, green/red, and green/brown. Each of these wires terminate in a
bullet connector. The g/w and the g/r bullets go into a double connector, with
two wires of the same color out the other side. The g/n wire connects to
another g/n wire.

The g/w wires are for the LH, and the g/r are for the RH indicators. The g/n
wire comes from the flasher.

With the key on, you should have 12 volts on the g/n wire. With the TS on, the
12 volts should be ON - OFF.

If you don't get 12 volts on the g/n wire, look at the green wire on the
flasher module - it should have 12 volts with the key on. 

If you don't have 12 volts here, and the gauges don't work either, you
probable have a bad fuse. If you don't have 12 volts and the gauges do work,
the green wire from the fuse to the flasher module is broken or disconnected.

All the above is based on the turn signals not working at all. If the lights
come on but don't flash, the wires to the front TS bulbs are probably
disconnected.

If this doesn't solve your problem, get back to me and we'll try something
else.
