Jack,
The spec. in the Haynes ZS manual (page 45, 9.1) is "...the highest point of
the float above the face of the body with the inlet needle valve closed is
.0725 to .0787 in. (16-17mm), and that the tag on the arm contacts the needle
at a right angle." In other words, turn the carb body upside down and with the
Gross Jet seated, adjust the little tab that fits over it until the top of the
plastic float is 16-17mm from the face of the body. You can make this
measurement easier by cutting a piece of stiff paper or cardboard in an "L"
shape with the short part (perpendicular to the face of the body) of the "L"
16-17mm and that the longer portion (parallel to the face of the body) rests
against the floats.
