OK, one more time. Got this '73 TR-6. It starts when cold, but even if
the choke is out it runs as if at low idle. After running for a little
while it quits abruptly. Will restart, but only for an instant before
quitting again.
Last diagnosis from the list -- ignition coil. I replaced the coil, also
the plugs, which had a black powder on them (suggesting ignition problems),
plug wires, and low-tension wire between coil and distributor. Fired her up
with high expectations and ...... !!!!!! same old story. Any theories?
