<< For those of you who haven't seen this process close-up, it's very easy to
apply the powder and get nearly any finish quality you're looking for. One
of the widgets we coated was an alternator pulley which we did in Smoked
Chrome. The finished product (after about 15 minutes in the oven) was very
impressive - rich looking but not overly glossy......ho! ho! ho!....now, if
Santa can find me another oven and a new compressor, I'm ready!

I was there too. Yep, the demo was pretty cool. It inspired me to go home
and take the wife out to buy that new stove and dishwasher for the kitchen
remodel that won't be finished until much later. I'm going to stop at Eastwood
on the way home tomorrow (Mon.) and pick up the Deluxe HotCoat Kit, the
new stove will be delivered Tuesday, then the old stove goes out to the
garage and then I guess I'll be powder coating everything I own that conducts
electricity and will fit in the oven without melting.

BTW, I have NO financial interest in Eastwood, but if you're in or near SE PA
you can walk into the Eastwood retail store right now and get 20% off your
purchase (i don't know how long this lasts) - anything in the catalog - if
they
don't have it in the retail store, they'll take about 10 steps back to the
warehouse
and get it. (wish I'd known they were going to do this before i bought that
50 lb bucket of blast media last week)
