So, it's the end of the 1999th year and the beginning of the 2000th. You're
either celebrating the beginning of the 2000th (like most of us), or the end
of the 2000th (like yourself). Either one's equally bizarre as it's only an
operational definition based on the birth of a guy who may or may not have
been the Messiah of a religion that's not observed by the majority of the
world's population.
