I'm having problems with my Spitfire with Self-Tapping fastners/screws.
Where these screw into panels ( the hood fasteners are really bad ), they
tend to vibrate loose. In the process they make the holes slightly larger.
Eventually they won't tighten again.
Any suggestions? I reckon some sort of 'backing' that fits behind the hole
where I can reach it ) that would 'lock' the screw in place would be the
go - but what material - I have no ideas.
