Jim and Jack,
You are both correct.  I just happen to know a few State 
Troopers and they are professionals.  They are also a few 
that need to be laughed at and with also.  They are every 
where and in every profession.  I just find it hard to 
believe that they are willing to place themselves in harms 
way for so little money.
