Gee!.......I don't know........guess it keeps moisture away from what I
spray it upon........repells it from the wires, cap, etc.......
Never had any trouble with it's use either.........possibly placebo
effect?.......but up here in the damp NorthWest.......I can tell you, that more
than
once........when I had a miss......just sprayed all the electrics down with the
ole WD........and drove off like a champ without any further miss.......who
knows???.........<g>...........
