| If I remember my reading, the late, great Carroll Smith suggested that nylocs can be reused as long as they cannot be turned by hand. However, they are cheap enough that I prefer to not re-use them. I tend to source my grade 8 stuff from McMaster-Carr http://www.mcmaster.com/. I you so desire, you can also get grade 5 locknuts from them (which are much cheaper than the Grade 8 stuff). Hugh Barber Hollister, CA '73 TR6 |
