Paul,

I have been and ebayer for about 2 years now and I have only had 2 problems so
far. One was my fault and the other was the seller.

Both were with gasket sets. One was advertised as a TR2-4 bottom set but it
wasnt. The seller wasnt sure, I took a chance and now I have a gasket set
for ??? My fault.

2ND problem was for another lower gasket set. The Front plate to block gasket
wasnt the correct one! And guess what, it was the same as the ?? gasket set.

All other gaskets in the set were fine. Got a bit boned there, had to order
the gasket from TRF but only cost .95c.

The only real problem I have is sometimes the postage and handling is a bit
high. I.E. I got a set of generator brushes for I think 2 bucks and the
seller charged 5 to ship them. He shipped them in a regular letter envelope
for the letter postage! What can you do?

Overall I guess I am ahead since some of the parts are NLS from the big 3. I
haven't been the object of an outright lie or scam.

However my friend and business partner won a 65 mustang from a seller in
Phoenix. Seller advertised car as original etc. Well he won the car and had a
very hard time even contacting the guy. Ended up flying to AZ to pay and pick
up the car. Guess what, it wasnt original. Numerous stuff was not original,
engine, trans, doors, paint. There was body work, gas tank replaced etc. The
seller said that there was no bondo or other repairs. That was an outright
lie. The car had been hit in the right rear. The trunk is a bit out of
allignment etc. Engine was from a 66 Falcon, Head from a 65 Falcon.
Transmission is auto but vin # says should be 3 speed std.

The seller had some neg feedback from this and other big $ sells, so he
changes his ebay name etc. I believe he is on his third ID since this sale
last Feb.

The car turned out to be ok but was misrepresented. A few problems but nothing
to severe.

One of these days, when the current project is completed, I will start
organizing and selling some of my spares but will be honest and answer all
questions as I currently expect all sellers to do.
