I'd say that makes odds quite good that it has a TR2-4 style clutch, rather than
the 4A style. Jerry has covered the differences pretty good, except that the
front cover on the transmission needs to match the clutch as well. Can't tell
you the numbers offhand, but the 4A front cover is significantly shorter than
the TR2-4 cover. (Other than that, it's quite easy to use a 4A-6 clutch with an
earlier gearbox. You can either cut down the TR2-4 cover, or an original 4A-6
cover will interchange.) But as Jerry says, the only way to be certain is to
pull it apart. It _might_ be possible to peek around the flywheel through the
starter hole, with suitable mirrors or a borescope, but I think it would be
tricky.
Also, before dropping big bux on Herman's conversion, I'd suggest asking Herman
how you adjust the clutch. The stock clutch will last a long, long time (TR2-4
seem remarkably free of the problems that plague the TR6 crowd) but having to
pull the gearbox to adjust the clutch seems unreasonable to me.
