Thanks James,
I don't know if the fulcrum pin was ever removed or not but I wa able to 
loosen the bolts - I tightened them back up when it occured to me there may 
be nuts falling into the abyss.

I got the harder (polyurethan(?)) bushings - why wouldhn't youput grease 
onthem? I thought I read on this list that they were to be greased on the 
inside or outside depending on which theory you wanted to follow.
