Just ordered the pertronix II then caught your message, ihave used them in the past and it is a simple matter to switch back to the points nothing is really disturbed and the point are not much hard

My 53 chevy did not come with the original engine trans or rear end, the rear was a 10 bolt posi 3.07:1. I purchased my al. lowering blocks and u-bolt set up at Speedway motors. Not sure of the size

That is the reason I went with the powermaster, it is a 110 amp but puts out 79amps at a shade above idle. Good point. I wanted something that would take care of the dual spal fans with a 27 amp draw

With a helper you can mark the tire and drive shaft and roll the car one revolution of the tire and count the number of turn the drive shaft goes aroung with two wheels up and positraction with both
