As a former Fire Department employee and Hazardous Waste Manager I would suggest you call your local Fire Department and see how they want to handle it. It is not a crime to have it (just dangerous)

I asked local gas station, they took it, one for free, the other for $5.00. Plan B, dilute with a gallon or 2 of used engine oil, reduces what little flammability is left and take to oil recycling. T
