Make sure the two halves of the steering shaft are perfectly aligned. Any misalignment will cause binding. The coupler thing must slide from one half to the other with no movement of either shaft. T

Doug, maybe I missed it. Did you say whether your steering felt too tight or too loose? There are a number of culprits that can come into play asidefromthe sterringbox. See the Moss catalog on TR3-3

Doug: With the weight off the front, it should be relatively easy to hook a finger on the outside of the steering wheel spokes and turn the wheel from lock to lock. Not power steering easy but well,

IMO, if everything is just right and the wheels are off the ground, it _should_ be very easy. Mine felt like it wasn't connected ... a smart flip of the wheel would spin it to the stop. But I did in
