- I've seen the sliding loom ones before. There is a stationary side that is mounted to either the door or the jam with a small piece of pipe type material probably 1/4 or 3/8 inch diameter. a matching

- Ever heard of jamb-tacs? they eliminate the need for jamb-wires. The only drawback is, that power-windows and speakers stop working when the door is opened. They got them from 2 to (i think) 5 or six

- Yes, I've seen them. Wayne mentioned them as well. I guess I don't like the idea that opening the door will shut everything off...so guess will go with the sliding loom. Thanks for the help though. I

- This is what I used on my truck you can't use anything else because the door does not open up rather it slides out due to the hinge arrangement those with pre 55's know what I mean Bill 48'chevy pick
