- Hi Ed. In the same situation, I chose DZUS fasteners. they are virtually flush with the bonnet sheet metal and do the job. I can send you a photo of how they are set-up. Very simiple to fabricate and

- I am using Dzus fasteners, they fit flush, are about the size of a nickle, but you need a coin or screwdriver to open them. I thought about spitfire latches and almost did that but just couldn't stic
