I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but you can't run a harness in an open top car without a GCR rollbar or cage installed in the car. Of course, this only applies to SCCA sanctioned event

Just curious what everyone thinks about using harnesses in a hardtop but un-caged car, seems to me in a rollover you may have the same problem as a convertible if the top is sufficiently crushed. Ch

Depends on the car. I feel confident enough in the "space frame" in my Saturn that I'm not uncomfortable about wearing a harness. There are probably some cars out there that would warrant considering
