Carl's racer isn't exactly the official Spridget blue. He (and a lot of other racers) uses GM truck enamel. Easy to get, match and repair! I don't know how many dark blues were original to Spridgets,

It is more towards a dark blue. If your color does not look like the picture in the book, it is probably Basilica. I had my car repainted and they supposedly mixed the paint to the original receipe
