Just to clarify, that's true _only_ if your later box is still a 3-synchro ! That sound suspiciously like you're trying to mix 3-synchro and 4-synchro ... are you sure the 1-2 forks and shafts are i

Hi guys, Thanks....but they are different in more ways than one. Randall is right....one must be the earlier 3 synchro box and the other has to be the later 4 synchro box. Here are the differences: T

If it's really a 4-synchro cover, then the 1-2 rod is not quite identical either. The detent notch for 1st gear is slightly farther away from the neutral detent on the 3-synchro box. Of course, it's
