Paul The plastic bushings are available from Nissan, there are 2 different bushings. I ordered them and they cost less then $5 for all. If the Alternator mounts the same way as the Sprite generator,

Paul, the bushings in questin are at the bottom of the shift lever. So they are easily changed, even with teh transmission in the car. There are 3 pieces. 2 between the bolt and the shift lever and 1

I also pulled a 210 tranny out of a junkyard and put it right into the Midget. Has been just great, and I have not done a rebuild. Some year I probably will (It's a tad noisy in 5th, but not too bad)
