The Redline oil that Bill Pugh mentioned is a full synthetic gear oil. I use Valvoline synthetic gear oil in my TR3A daily driver's diff, seems to work OK, but then the diff was on it's last legs 100

Which is part of the reason I specified I plan to try MTL 90 ... it's thicker than most synthetic transmission oils. The OD pump also relies on viscosity (as it has no piston rings), and won't work
