Those shocks with adjustable spring perches are called coilovers. I don't think any are made for Roadsters and to custom make a set is very $$$$$$. I definitely wouldn't heat the springs but if you c

If you remove one coil, you will shorten the spring by about 2", but you'll also increase the spring rate, so the car will only be lowered by about 1". The stock spring rate is about 450 lb/in, with
