Hi folks,

My '6 is around 170hp. I did a WOT test a couple of years back on a long
(slightly downhill) straight very early one morning with the hardtop on. The
speedo indicated 225kph with the rev counter about half a needle width under
5000 RPM. I think that works out to around 130 ~ 135 MPH.

One thing tho, I won't be doing that again... She was quite stable until
around 120MPH when she started to get a bit "floaty".

I'd love to hear how the V8 conversion boys go with top speed!

OK. I've heard just about everything I can imagine except how fast a TR6 is
at top speed on this list.
Does anyone want to share how fast they have been in a TR6? Just curious.
I myself have only been 65MPH in a TR6. Now it's in pieces all over my
garage
being restored.
