When you get it going again try a little more "tow in" in the rear. I've
found that helps stabilize the rear in high speed turns.

I was "chasing" a Mate of mine in a Pantera (he had the stereo going,
and
was relaxing to some tunes) along route 8 out of San Diego, and we did
exceed 100 mph for at least 20 miles.  I'll be honest, I was nervous,
yet
exhilarated.  I was whooping and yelling with the top down, but at the
back
of my mind, was the thought that this was a stock, old car, where old
parts
break with alarming regularity.  The worn-out rear-end was VERY
sensitive to
steering input, but the motor sounded awesome.
