Ah, life is good. My darling bride got me one of Mr... Good's 300ZX
differential installation kits. Cool, smoke off of both tires this year:)

Mark -- I got that kit last year.  Do not smoke the tires, but sure helps pull
out of corners.

I have modified my rear axles to use Nissan 280/early 300 ones [u-joint not
cv].  Given that the diff you need will come from a late 300 with CV joints,
you might see about adapting those axles since they bolt right to the diff--
wish I had for in the end I bought new half shafts and a u-joint that goes
between TR size and Nissan size.   It would have been cheaper to adapt the CV
joint (There is a company that makes an adapter). I have the part numbers for
these - they are all Spicer parts.  I had a machine shop fabricate a inner
bearing carrier and do some machining to the TR hub to accept the Nissan
bearings.  Can send pics if you want.
