Thank you, Bob.  That's the brand I was thinking of.  I've used it with great 
success on cruddy black plastic to the point that the plastic shines again 
almost like new.  It can take some repeated effort but the results are worth 
it.  If the part is really dirty first give it a thorough washing with soap and 
water and a soft brush.
