Sorry,
 But I must comment here.  While I agree that there are a lot
of good Miata drivers on the West coast, there are also a lot of 
good drivers Miata drivers on the east coast.  It just so happens
that the course was 15 seconds long with 10 of those seconds 
being a straight away.  It was just the kinda course that a high
horsepower car could win.  Also, at the time, Rad Vach was living in
Michgan and was at the event, so was Bryan Kinser, Eric Esch, Kumar
Viswalingham, just to name a few.
