The Civic also benefits more from the update/backdate allowance than
the other candidates. '84 shell (w/much lighter bumpers), 86/87 Si
engine, etc. Plus the suspension has already been extensively developed
in CSP, DSP, and Prepared, bypassing lots of time- and money-consuming
guesswork and trial and error.
