And another advantage of having regional only ST (versus STU or STR) is
that it'll tend to help ensure tha the really serious autoxers (read,
those who will spend lots 'o money to get every legal advantage) will tend
not to run ST since there's no place to play in ST nationally. Make the
national classes STR and STU..
Maybe. To be honest, I've been thinking that ST might be neat precisely
because its "street prepared cheap", but I don't have any interest in
trying to figure out what tire to run to be competitive or in having the
ones I chose be discontinued, etc.
