        Well, I'd hate for you to pass out from oxygen deprivation right there
in front of your computer, so I think we can agree to disagree. :-)

        Very true. We generally will steer our Novices to the more experienced
drivers. Our region isn't quite as organized to the point of labeling
who's qualified to instruct. But at the same time, our numbers seem to
be smaller and it's a little easier to keep track. As for show-boating,
I don't really think we've had that happen much. Sure, everyone spins
now and again, and even the really experienced, national level drivers
will tend to loop it. But then the Novice learns that a spin isn't going
to kill them. Of all of the drivers that we have offer themselves as
instructors, there really hasn't been much of a desire to show off for
the ridealongs. After all, if you're showboating, chances are you're
going slower anyway. And the passenger is there to learn how to go
faster, not slower.

        I can see where that'd be a concern, but I haven't seen it be an issue
here though.

        Anything to improve the regions and have more fun is definitely worth
