My first car was a 1970 Saab 96 V4 Sedan.  I 
restored it while in high school, giving me my first 
wrenching experience.

When I started racing, we ran my stepdad's 1968 
Saab Sonett V4, which is uncommonly referred to 
as the model 97.  

He had 97, and I had 96.
