Well, a little history may be in order here. SCCA bought Pro Solo from Jim
KcKamey in the late 1980s. It was, as it is now, a stand alone series with
its own unique set of rules. It wasn't then, and never has been, a part of
Solo II (which is run by the SEB). SCCA has always run Pro Solo like its
other Pro Racing venues, as a stand alone series with a single manager.
Right or wrong, that how it has been operated.

Whether or not Pro Solo _should_ be run by the SEB is obviously a subject
that can be debated. I would suggest that if you think Pro Solo should fall
under the SEB then you should write your BoD rep asking for that change. It
is the BoD that make such decisions.

Note: the above is not an official position of the SEB.
