Well, Carl,

Why would you want to post a separate notification of the
results being available?  As I said I post one as soon as the
results go out.

Why would anyone want to wait for your notification if they
don't trust me?  They'd want to set up their own bots, and
maybe they won't be quite so good at programming.
There could be a risk to our site, I believe.

Question: What's the point?

Also, now that I know about your strategy, I won't post any more
results until they are complete, checked, and OK'd by Pat.
In addition, I'll send the notification 10 minutes before I ftp the
results to the site.

It's a big pain in the neck for me.  But do what you want.
