Dear Marcus,
I assume you realize that the starter draws something like 100 amps, so
the wire to the starter will have to be very large if it is not to melt in
your hand. It would be best to use automotive jumper cables: - to the
engine block. + to the battery side of the starter switch or relay, both
connections made with good quality jumper cables, and another + which can
be smaller, to the batt side of the coil.
