Hi,

I'm new to the *art* of owning and maintaining an LBC ('72 TR6)
but learning fast...uh...by force. At any rate, here goes:

1. What the heck kind of stereo fits in the TR6 hole? They
obviously build them a little bigger than they used to.
I've been able to find a few whose shafts will go narrow
enough, but the faceplate still won't make it. Am I to
reduce myself to filing out the original hole to make way
   for today's sizes?

2. Just how much oil should this thing be drinking and/or
leaking. Quart no. 1 lasted about 200 miles, but the car
was running *nauseatingly* rich at the time. Would the rich
mixture affect oil consumption? I got the mixture adjusted
but haven't yet driven it enough to check the difference.

3. Are my windscreen wipers supposed to be auto-parking?

4. Is there a way to remove minor scratches in the windscreen,
   short of replacing it?

5. Anybody have any info. on contacting British Heritage(?) to
   get background on my car?

6. Finally, does anyone have a decent shape tonneau (sp?) cover
rotting in the corner that will fit a '72 TR6? If you've got
one you'd like to sell me, send me an E-mail.

Thanks in advance and sorry for the newbie questions (gotta' start
somewhere).
