No, the 165 is the section width, the measurement across the widest part
of the tire when mounted on the standard measuring rim, which is 70% of
the section width.  Sounds a bit circular, eh?

Once again, I offer my spreadsheet instructions to anyone who cares.  They
will allow you to figure sizes, dimensions and speeds according to
industry standards as stated by BFG.  These instructions will tell you how
to build a spreadsheet in your favorite spreadsheet program.  Just ask at
