my name is wes and i recently purchased a 1970 1600 SPL 311. i am eager to
begin my restoration however i would like to start with the power plant. i
have no intention on keeping the 1.6L and i was looking for a good option for
an engine swap. it is not easy for me to find a L20 engine (importers say
the engine is too old and they do not bring them over anymore). i was
thinking about the KA24 out of say a 1992 240 sx. i was interested in
hearing from anyone who has done this or has any info on this.
i am located in sacramento, california. any info you can provide is
appreciated.
