And they can be built to produce some impressive horses. An ex brother in law
of mine has a picture of him taken at the local drag strip in Eureka,
California, maybe '61 or '62. It's a Skylark with a built 215, front end is
coming up just as he catches 2nd gear. The picture was snapped just as the
clutch, etc. came flying apart - clearly visible under the raised car.
