Well...I went and did it!
The little bundle of joy will be home after a few fixes and additions.
(water pump, brake brace, alternator and new hoses + anything else to
make it safe and sound.) I'm nervous and excited about getting the '69
2000 home and in my clutches. ^_^ Muahaha!
I just found out that the pervious owner wants to sell the solex he had
purchased...and of course I'm thinking 'well, the car's going to be opened
up anyway for the other fixes....wouldn't this be just a perfect time....'
My concern is, since I won't be doing it myself, just how much time
is involved in the conversion? I've seen prices from a few people on
the list selling theirs...but what's a average cost? Am I just crazy?
(No need to answer that last part....)
Anyway, in a short time I'll be zooming up and down 280. Watch out!
