Just got back from the new Costco here in Arlington and they have the red
Optima battery for $100. I didn't get the group size but it looks pretty
generic, Group 24(?), but it did list over 900 cranking amps. Both side
and top posts.
Is there any reason you can't use both sets of posts on these dual post
batteries? You can use the top post for the regular electrical stuff and
the side posts for connecting all of these fancy stereos and such that we
all seem to want to add.
